“Stories from the people who tell the story of America”

Finding the essence of a country that is constantly moving by telling its heritage through ranchers, farmers, cowboys, creators, and more.

Traveling the United States during America 250, telling the stories of its Swedish footprint has been - and still is - a blessing in many ways. But I get to meet more Americans than Swedes during my travels, many with stories I can’t tell within the format of the tour. Which led to the idea of continuing down the same track, but in a 2.0 version.

When the year is done, a single step away from the Swedish perspective opens up the possibility of telling the stories of something already mentioned:

America is “…built with bricks from all parts of the world”.

The next chapter would tell the story of an America we see on the horizon. Ranchers, riders, oil riggers, cowboys, and creators - people who roll up their sleeves unbothered by artificial intelligence and smartphone applications.

It’s the same idea - holding on to a shorter format with weekly episodes framed by daily short stories while traveling through a wider field, meeting American guests on their turf.

- How?

Heading out for six months in a Trade Wind and a pickup truck, starting February 2027, focusing on the southern and Midwest states, while recording two episodes per week, would provide material for a show lasting a full year.

Additional collaborations could include Harvest Host and American brands such as Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, or GMC.
